Preparing for College Athletics

At Trinity Presbyterian School, we are proud to support our student-athletes in pursuing their dreams beyond high school.

There are numerous opportunities available for young women and men to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, including NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and NJCAA programs. The journey begins with a conversation—students and parents are encouraged to speak directly with the varsity head coach to understand the recruitment process and next steps.

Student-athletes planning to compete at the NCAA Division I or II level must register with the NCAA Initial Eligibility Center. We recommend registering at the end of junior year once final grades are posted. During registration, athletes will be required to print transcript request forms for each high school attended.

These forms should be submitted to the student’s counselor so that Trinity may forward the official transcripts to the NCAA Eligibility Center.

There are numerous businesses that will help with promoting student athletes to schools. These are for-profit companies and Trinity Presbyterian School does not support any of these. Parents should use their judgment on how to best promote their children’s interests.
